How does it work?
Working with you and your child, we develop a programme of learning that is customised to your requirements, educational goals and your child’s individual needs and interests.
This may include a targeted set of lessons …
- to help your child learn to read
- to help your child re-engage with learning
- to underpin areas that your child is currently learning
- to fill in gaps in learning perhaps, due to a move to another school or an absence
- to support Special Education Needs or where you perceive your child is in need of support
- and for the more able child, extension work or work exploring particular areas of interest
Initial consultation
We ask you to complete a form about your requirements and your child to complete a series of quizzes so that we can understand motivations, interests, goals and requirements, attainment level and learning styles.
Bookings
You decide when to book and the number of lessons for each booking. If you need to cancel or postpone a lesson, just send an email with details of the changes and we will try to re-schedule for a time that suits you.
